Let's Do This!

Now that we have your date selected for your session, I am so excited to get started and give you some inside information about what to expect! This guide is to help you understand timeline for before, during, and after your session. Along with answering any questions you might have! I want to make you feel comfortable and ready for your session without the stress.


Details: Time and Location


When picking a location, you can check out my location guide to give you some ideas for where I have done other session. You get to pick if you want the foothills in the background, open field, red rocks, trees, etc.

The best time for shooting sessions is during "golden hour" which is about an hour and a half before sunset. When we discuss the date for your session, I will give you an estimated time on when we will meet. I will confirm this time with you a week before our shoot so we can be as accurate as possible with the sun.



Family Photo Sessions

Our Time Together


Your photo session will include classic portrait style photos of everyone looking at the camera and also candid style photos capturing your love and connection. I will bring a blanket and a bench depending on location so we can get different combinations of shots. I will also bring my portable speaker to have music playing...this can be a great ice breaker for kiddos and creates the atmosphere of relaxed and fun! We will play, laugh, and you get to enjoy time together with the people you love.

Newborn Session

WELCOME HOME


First of all, congratulations! Secondly, please do not feel like the house needs to be perfect before I arrive. I will walk around, check out lighting and if there is anything I need to move I can easily do that. Most the time, we will take photos in the nursery and master bedroom so you can make your bed but no need to clean the house.

Plan on an hour to an hour and a half of me being there. We will take our time and make sure baby is comfortable and sleepy. I do recommend trying to feed before I arrive but we all know babies do what they want. So if you need to feed while I am there, no worries.  I like to start with baby in an outfit that you choose and get family photos first. Then we will move on to the swaddling portrait photos. Please have a swaddle you like laid out and if you want any accessories like headbands or special blankets for them to lay on.


Senior Session

Class of 2024!


It's here! Your last year of high school and there is so much to celebrate. Your senior photo session is a time for you to showcase your personality and be the star of the show. Your session will be an hour long with 2-3 outfit changes. You can also incorporate props like musical instruments, sports, uniforms, letterman jacket, etc. I will send your a questionnaire to learn more about your vision for our session and get details about you!



Timeline

One Month +

  • First contact through email or phone
  • Pick a date that works and put in on the calendar
  • Set a tentative time for the session and discuss location
  • Decide if you would like a full or mini family session
  • I will send you this Welcome Guide & Client Questionnaire

One Week Before

  • I will reconnect with you and confirm time and location
  • I will send you your invoice for the session the day before


Day Of & After

  • I always let me clients know when I am on my way and we will meet at our chosen location
  • I will ask you if I can share your sneak peak on my business social pages
  • Your sneak peek will be ready in 1-2 weeks from your shoot
  • Your final gallery will be emailed to you 2-3 weeks after our session
